What is the London Tech Football League?
A new six-a-side football league for London tech companies, run by Secta. Teams will play a full season of fixtures plus a Cup against sides from Secta's other leagues, with every game filmed. Tech companies including Google and Adobe already play with Secta. The first season is being put together now.

Tech teams spend most of the week in Slack threads and stand-ups. This is forty minutes a week to forget about all of it, play against the companies you compete with for talent, and meet people who are not on your Zoom calls.
Every game is recorded with player interviews, match highlights and a Player of the Match report, then shared on LinkedIn. That gives the whole company a reason to follow along, not just the six on the pitch.

Questions, answered
Who can enter the London Tech Football League?
Teams from London tech companies, from startups and scale-ups to fintechs and established tech businesses.
What is the format?
Six-a-side. Teams play a full season of league fixtures, plus a Cup competition where tech teams face sides from Secta's other industry leagues across London.
When does the first season start?
It is not scheduled yet. The teams that register interest now become the founding teams, and help us pick the night and the pitch that suit everyone.
Have tech companies played with Secta before?
Yes. Tech companies including Google and Adobe already play with Secta. This is the first league built only for the tech industry.
Do we need experienced players?
No. These are mixed-ability leagues and most teams play for the social side as much as the football. Games are properly refereed so they stay competitive without getting silly.
Is it filmed?
Yes. Games are recorded with player interviews, match highlights and Player of the Match reports, and shared on LinkedIn so the whole company can follow along.
