Team Building in Glasgow

A football city with a big business community. Tell us what your team wants and help bring Secta's company leagues to Glasgow.

The short answer

Is there a company football league in Glasgow?

Not yet. There is no weekly league where Glasgow companies play each other, and that is what Secta runs in London. We are gauging Glasgow now: register interest in friendlies, pitch bookings, leagues, tournaments or padel, and the first firms in become the founding teams.

The International Financial Services District along the Broomielaw holds more than 3 million square feet of offices, with Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, Barclays, BNP Paribas and Aon among its occupiers. JPMorgan alone employs over 2,000 people in the city.

Put that next to a city that lives for football and a weekly league where firms play their neighbours makes obvious sense. Tell us which format your team would play.

Questions

Team Building in Glasgow: FAQs

Where can Glasgow companies play 5-a-side after work?

Powerleague Glasgow in Townhead is the closest to the city centre. Glasgow Green Football Centre has eight pitches, Goals Glasgow South is on Pollokshaws Road, and the Emirates Arena has four pitches you can book through the Glasgow Club app.

Where can we play padel in Glasgow as a team?

Racket Barn in Govan has six indoor courts, The Court on the south side has four and Glasgow Club Scotstoun has three. Great Western Golf has covered courts.

Is there a corporate football league in Glasgow?

Not a weekly one between companies yet. If enough Glasgow firms register interest, Secta will launch one, with the founding firms choosing the night and the venue. In the meantime we can set up a friendly against another company or book a pitch for your team.

What happens when we register interest for Glasgow?

We note your company, the offer and roughly how many players. When Glasgow has enough interest for a venue, you hear first and help choose the night and the format. Registering commits you to nothing.

Can you run a one-off event for us sooner?

Possibly. Tell us what you have in mind, your numbers and your date, and we will tell you honestly whether we can run it.
