The short answer

Is there a company football league in Birmingham?

Not yet. There is no weekly league where Birmingham companies play each other, and that is what Secta runs in London. We are gauging Birmingham now: register interest in friendlies, pitch bookings, leagues, tournaments or padel, and the first firms in become the founding teams.

Birmingham has one of the largest concentrations of office jobs outside central London. PwC's biggest UK regional office is at Paradise, and Goldman Sachs is expanding its base in the Colmore Business District.

Padel is booming here too, with indoor and covered courts across the south and east of the city. Whether your team wants football or padel, a weekly league against the firms around you is what Secta runs. Tell us which format you would play.

Questions

Team Building in Birmingham: FAQs

Where can Birmingham companies play 5-a-side after work?

Aston University Sport is the most central, with 3G pitches and block bookings a few minutes from Colmore Row. Powerleague Birmingham in Aston and Goals at Star City in Nechells are the big floodlit centres, both with parking.

Where can we play padel in Birmingham as a team?

Core Padel in Tyseley has six indoor courts, enough for a whole team at once. Connect Padel in Moseley, Powerleague Birmingham in Aston and Edgbaston Priory Club also have courts.

Is there a corporate padel league in Birmingham?

Not a weekly one between companies yet. If enough Birmingham firms register interest, Secta will launch one, football or padel, with the founding firms choosing the night and the venue. In the meantime we can set up a friendly against another company or book a pitch for your team.

What happens when we register interest for Birmingham?

We note your company, the offer and roughly how many players. When Birmingham has enough interest for a venue, you hear first and help choose the night and the format. Registering commits you to nothing.

Can you run a one-off event for us sooner?

Possibly. Tell us what you have in mind, your numbers and your date, and we will tell you honestly whether we can run it.
